The unit should be sanitized at least every 6 -12 months with our “Power Wash” solution. The indication is seen on the outlet pressure gauge where you can notice the pressure is dropping to a certain limit.

The “Power Wash” solution is specially developed by Jantzen over the years in treating their RO system. It is gentle in prolonging the lifespan of the membrane yet effectively strong in removing all the impurities from the system. The sanitation is done with special equipment by certified personnel. It will take about 1 hour to complete this task.

Yes. There will be a slight reduction on the water pressure (0.025 bars) but that is good as it indicates that the membrane is removing particulates or contaminants.

No. The system works using your existing water pressure and no electricity is required to purified your water. You’ll have purified water from every tap in your house even during a power failure. Yet, a 9 volt alkaline battery is required to run the timer for the auto flushing controller unit and it usually can last up to 1 year.

The auto flushing function in the system will be de-activated and the hollow membrane will eventually get blocked. The outlet pressure gauge will have a lower reading. At this point, you need to replace a new battery. We suggest you to replace the battery every 12 months to prevent the above matters occur, It is also advisable to put a remark or date on the battery replaced. It will act as a reference for your future battery replacement.
